Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

Hello my fellow munchkins! ^^ I'll be reviewing a clay mask which is by the brand Innisfree. Innisfree is a S.Korean cosmetic brand that is based around using natural and pure ingredients from the earth.

If you're a long time reader of my blog then you may have known by now that I have dry/sensitive skin. Using a clay mask may not be the best for this particular skin type, since it may dry out my skin by drawing out the natural oils and moisture of it. However this clay mask did not do that so I thought I'd share this lovely product with you guys. :3

What the product claims to do:

This Jeju volcanic scoria clay mask intensively adsorbs sebum and clarifies skin pores.

About Jeju volcanic scoria:
This pure and rare ingredient, formulated from solidified lava caused by volcanic eruptions in Jeju island, absorbs impurities and sebum that are deeply embedded within skin pores.

Directions:
After cleaning and refining skin with toner, gently smooth over entire face, avoiding the eye and lip area. Rinse off with lukewarm after 15 minutes.(Use 1-2 times per week)

Pack Size:
100ml

Ingredients:
Water, Titanium Dioxide, Butylene Glycol, Volcanic Ash, Glycerin, Silica, Trehalose, Kaolin, Bentonite, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Zinc Oxide (CI 77947), Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Juglans Regia (Walnut) Shell Powder, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, Opuntia Coccinellifera Fruit Extract, Orchid Extract, Camellia Japonica Leaf Extract, Pvp, Peg-100 Stearate, Polysorbate 60, Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Xanthan Gum, Iron Oxides (CI 77499), Zea Mays (Corns) Starch, Sorbitan Stearate, Polyacrylate-13, Mannitol, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Lactic Acid, Polyisobutene, Menthoxypropanediol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Polysorbate 20, Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Disodium Edta, Phenoxyethanol

Scent -
It is fragrances free but it has a natural earthy smell to it; smells like regular clay which doesn't bother me and it's quite a pleasant smell.

Texture
-

It's slightly thick with a smooth creamy consistency.

Pros -
Loving the natural and pure concept
Applies on smoothly
Washes off easily
Leaves skin feeling soft and smooth
Has a brightening effect
Did not break out my skin
A bit goes a long way (this jar would most likely last me over a year or so LOL)
My pores were minimised
Skin feels deep cleansed

Cons -
A bit messy when washing off the clay mask (but washes off easily)
DOES NOT HAVE A SPATULA ARGH!

Overall I'd purchase this product again, my skin did not feel dry at all. Which is the main reason to why I am loving this product so much. :) I use this about once a week or whenever I feel like pampering myself up. It seriously deeps cleanses the skin and pores, makes my skin feel more radiant and soft like a babies bottom~ The only thing that I don't like about this product is how it's in a jar - I HATE JAR PRODUCTS WITHOUT A SPATULA. Luckily I have my own so it feels more hygienic, if you don't have one just use a q-tip. Just go out and buy it plz. 8D

Hope you guys enjoyed this post and don't forget to leave a comment down below, I love reading comments~ If you'd like to keep in contact with me or check out what I'm up to check out my Facebook Page which is located on the right side on this blog or follow me on Twitter: phujuu :D

Lenses Review: Vassen Kayo 3 Tone Grey Lenses

(Sponsored)

Hello my munchkins, hope you're all doing well! I'll be reviewing Vassen Kayo 3 tone grey circle lenses which are sponsored by LoveShoppingholics. The packaged arrived within two weeks which is really good! The package was in an envelope with bubble wrap lining and the lenses viral bottles were placed within a small gift box with extra bubble wrapping as well. :3 I also have two more pairs of circle lenses to review by LoveShoppingholics but they'll be posted individually on my blog! Now on with the photos and profile of the lenses! 8D

Manufacturer : Vassen
Origin: Korea
Diameter : 14.5mm
Water Content : 45%
Base Curve : 8.6mm
1 year disposable lenses after opening

My Review:

Design 5/5:
Does those lenses remind you of the EOS Ice Series or what? Because I'm 100% sure it's the same design and if you've been following my blog they're one of my favourite lenses to wear and I totally luveeeee the design now.

Colour/color 5/5: Slight dark limbo ring and then it melts into a mixture of grey and instead of being just pure "grey" it has a tint of blue and honey brown. This makes it look less 'fake' and look quite natural, totally loving the tri-colour! Was expecting to be just pure grey but it wasn't :D.

Enlargement 5/5: The size is 14.5mm but it gives off a 16mm look instead because it has a limbo ring and the grey part of the lenses gives a halo effect which is really pretty. It'll look creepy with no make up so beware.

Comfort 5/5: Vassen lenses are one of those lenses that are quite comfortable to me and these lenses I can wear them up to 8hrs+.

Overall: 6/5
As you can see I've given it a 6/5 because it's so pretty on and it's way better than the EOS Ice Series in my opinion. My new favourite grey lenses! These lenses are perfect for those who want a 'shinny' eye effect and it is best worn with medium to heavy eye make up. A must for those who like grey lenses and want 'kira kira'~ eyes. 8D

Also LoveShoppingholics is having a buy 2 get 1 free for their Halloween special so check it out! Tomorrow is their last day of the promotion (31st of October 2014)! Check their website for me details!

Products I'm Loving ♡

Hello my beautiful readers, finally a post not 3 months from my previous post hahaha!! Anyway this post will be about a few my recent beauty products that I'm currently loving at the moment, or been loving for a long time! Nothing better than sharing my favourites because I love to see what other people like as well. I'll pop the links to where you can purchase them as I talk about each item to why I'm loving it~ :3

I've been using this for ages and it's perfect for holding your fringe back while you're washing your face, doing your make up or simply keeping it out of your face when you're at home. They're also different from the normal regular velcro as the grips are closer to each other and softer.

If you watch Bubzbeauty's Youtube videos then you would had seen this in a few of her older videos. This stick is so cheap and okay not going to lie - the first time I used it, it hurts like crazy! This is suppose to get rid of your facial hair such as your upper lip. You can do it really quick and there is no need to heat up your wax pot and blah blah blah. 100% recommended for removing facial hair aka peach fuzz and upper lip. :) Warning though - it hurts HHAHAHA.

The early signs of aging will show on your neck and your hands. We moisturise our face and body but a lot of people neglect their hands, neck and feet! They also need some T.L.C so spoil them. :)  I normally don't pick this scent but it smells sweet and heavenlyyyy. My all time favourite scent is actually the almond one though mmmmmmm.

I personally like liquid eyebrow pens as they are normally water proof, longer lasting and have more precision as the tip of the brush is quite fine. This is something I just tried and I'm loving it at the moment, two thumbs up! :D

I've been using this for the past few months and it's so goooooood (the bottle is 2/3 done but it's laying flat on the table, so you can't tell :P). I have really dry and sensitive skin and this make up remover is oil based, which does not dry out my skin and clog up my pores. I personally only like gel and oil based make up removers and this is something I'll keep repurchasing for sure!

Daiso | Dolly Style 'Brown Mix' #4 (no link, sorry couldn't find it!)
In Australia Daiso is $2.80AU and these lashes are a blend of brown and black. Looks really natural on and the lash band is also very thin, super pretty one, light weight and cheap too. :)

This lip tint is pigmented and smells and tastes really nice sort of like cherries? If you're a huge lip tint fan, you should add this to your collection. The only thing I don't like is how it's a squeeze tube, sometimes I put too much pressure on it and too much product comes out. Dead. T_T

I hope you all enjoyed this short post somehow, it's not a thorough review if you were expecting that! Is there any products you're loving at the moment? Share with me plzzzzz. Also I fucking need a new camera LOLOLOL any recommendations? A compact HD camera! :D

Until my next post,
Much love, Phuju ♥

Spree Picky

Hiyo! Anyone miss me? 8D Hahaha! I hope you're all doing well and it's nearly summer for me (people down under) and I'm looking forward to some sun shine!! Anyway back to this blog post, I recently bought some clothes from an online store called Spree Picky and the clothes are really cute! My shopping experience was pretty good so I thought I'd share with you all. :3

Shopping process:
I placed my 3 items in the shopping cart and did my payment, got a confirmation saying it's gone through paypal and what not. The store actually contacted me within 24hrs in regards to 2 of items that I had chosen were out of stock. They asked me if I'd like to choose something else or a different colour in that particular style. The shop also has a lot of coupon codes which is a plus for us online shopping addicts!

The three items:

Kawaii Grids Bubble Pant-Skirt (blue)

----------

How the look like when they arrived:

Shipping arrival time:
The package arrive within the 3 week range which was fairly alright, I don't mind the time frame since it was free shipping. 8)

Quality of the clothing + shoes:
When I received the package I opened it and everything was in their own individual plastic bag with the brand Spree Picky. They gave me a really cute key chain as a freebie and the business card as well. The shoes were not in a box so I was a little worried that it would've been squished up and lost it's shape/form. Quite relieved that it wasn't and it didn't had a factory smell likewise for the skort and blouse! The quality of it is quite good and it doesn't look cheap as well. My size is around 8AU or a small and they fit perfectly. :3

Now I'm sure you'll want to see how it looks on me so here it is~

Overall: 5/5
I'd purchase more things from the store, totally friendly, great communication and what I love the most is that it's unique items as you won't be able to find around locally in Melbourne.

Hope you guys enjoyed this short post! I got some more goodies to post in the future so fingers crossed I'll get some time to get them done heheheh. Also is there any online clothing stores that you really love shopping at? If so comment down below, I need new online shops!! LOL! ^^

Until next time!
Much love, Phuju. P ♥

Skincare Review: SexyLook Strawberry Black Head Pore Set

(Sponsored)

Hello my beautiful readers! ^^ It's currently winter in Australia and it's really cold! I was actually really sick for over a month and now I'm finally better, but I'm not well again OTL. What is this sorcery!? Anyway, I have a skin care review that is made for poresssss. Do you have those really annoying black heads/pores all over your nose/chin (T zone area), and even with the nose pore strips it doesn't even help? Well this might be the product for you, even Xiaxue likes this product too!!

SexyLook Strawberry Black Head Pore Set was sent from LoveShoppingholics and the shipping took around 1-2 weeks, which is quite fast/standard shipping. Nicely bubble wrapped but the box was a bit squished when I received it. But to me the important factor was the contents are not broken! :3

This product is quite different from nose pore strips, as it has a 3 step process. The 1st step is a try of liquid that is used to soften the sebum and the deep pores, 2nd step is to apply the mask to any desired areas on the face and the 3rd last step is a liquid (toner?) to remove any residue from the mask and to minimise the size of the pores.

NOW FOR A PHOTO WITH MY PORESSSSSSS.

Gahhh so nastyyyyy. ;_;

My review and overall:
The 3 step process was something I really enjoyed about this product. The packaging is quite simple but omg the smell is AMAZING! It smells like strawberry candy/chewing gum, I just wanted to squeeze the whole entire tube in my mouth and eat it! Not a strong chemical smell which is really good because it's sitting on top of my nose after all! Biore pore strips is good in my opinion but this product actually pulls out the whole length of the root of the pore/impurities within the skin. As the photo shows the pore is really long and whenever I use Biore, the pore either is broken off or doesn't come out as it's still stuck on my nose. TAT;; I'll just list down some of the pro's and con's of this product.

Pro's
  • Smells AMAZING and it didn't break me out
  • 3 steps to allow a more thorough way of removing the pores
  • Can use it all over the face such as the "T-zone area"

Con's
  • A bit messy with the mask
  • Have to wait 15 minutes+ to allow it to dry

Overall would I repurchase it again? I would, it's much more effective than nose pore strips and I can get more use out of it because I can apply it to my chin and forehead (T zone area). It's good but not a "wow" for me but it works much better than the nose pore strips. Everyone has different types of skin and honestly the best way to know if it'll only work for you is to try it out yourself.

March, April, May and June

A blog post that doesn't contain and ounce of reviewing any beauty products and it's all about my personal life instead! So what has been happening for the past few months for me? A lot of laughter, tears, love and all sorts of emotions mixed together. I'll try and not go into much detail or else this would go on forever, so let's start off around each month or so!

----------

M A R C H

Holidays were over and it was back to school to study again. A lot of new things was going on for me and it was the month with many birthday's including myself wooo. I honestly didn't felt like blogging at all at the moment in time, as placement was also approaching as well.

My sweet sisters got me a cute pink mini cupcake cake and gifts. Love to them to bits! ♥

Mr. Potato man took me out to dinner for my birthday. c: ♥

A P R I L

I was working at Supanova since I worked for DokiDoki Station (DDS). DDS did a collaboration with Hanabee and with the volunteer maids - which was called Hanabee Maid Cafe. It was also my last time being with DDS as I felt it was the right time to leave. I've been with them for over 2.5 years and it was time for a change. I do however miss the girls very much, but I'm so glad we still keep in contact with each other. I may how ever still make an appearance at special events (at con's) as the girls had asked me and I said I don't mind, but we'll see! :3

I must say after I left DDS, an opportunity opened up straight away for me. I was on placement during April and on my last day, I got offered a job there. I was over the moon and truly thankful for it to happen. It was also my little sister birthday and I can't believe how fast they grow up LOLOL! I feel like an old fart. :')

Maiko and I at Supanova being door bitchesss lolololz. 8D

Little sister's birthday gahhh. :'3

M A Y

A lot of assignments were due, group work, 2k+ essays, oral presentations that were to go for 20 minutes. Ughhh the list goes on, but the thought of it makes me think woah I finished all of them and I'm so proud of myself. May was a busy one for me since I had my graduation ceremony, work, my older brother's wedding, I started paying for some house bills (my brother moved out and I'm the oldest sibling in the house now) and plenty of assignments lining up. But all went well and I'm so glad May is bloody over!!!!!!!! Though I've graduated, I'm doing further study for myself which I've started since the beginning of this year. I don't care what people say what I do but I'm thankful for those who stood by my side and support what I am doing. :3

Graduation outfit of the night. Mirror selfie in the little sister's room. 8)

My hair flopped a bit due to the rain zzz. :<

Waiting for our names to get called out~ 8)

Best sister ever. Sorry for making you sit through 3hrs and only seeing me go on stage for 5 seconds LOL!

I want to say this one more time and I want to thank my family and my close friends for the love and support, who came that night to see me and take numerous photos throughout the night. I love you all very much. :') ♥

-------------------

Now on to some sad new. Near the end of the month, something terrible happened, Snowball past away. I miss her so much and I seriously hope she's happier over the rainbow bridge with her fellow bunny friends such as Rambo. It happened so sudden as well. I received a call from my older sister saying she had past away and I'm sitting in class thinking "what ever she's lying". Then I hung up the phone and then it hit me, she's not alive anymore and I cried so much. People probably though wtf is this bitch even crying about in this tutorial class. Luckily I spoke to my professor and she understood how I felt, she was hugging me and said she has pets at home and she knows how it feels. She told me that I need to go home and do what I need to do.

When people ask me omg how did she die?! Or simply asking how am I doing without her, I just burst into tears. If I want to talk about it I will, I'm a very emotional person even though I'm always smiling and crap lol. I remember the day before her death I was brushing her fur, feeding her some hay and gave her lots of cuddles and pets. I just want people to appreciate their furry friend and understand that sudden things can happen and I hope you make the most of everyday with them.

My little Snowball has given us so much love and joy and I hope you're in a better place. 03.01.09 - 26.05.14 ♥

I miss her furry face. :<

I used to always brush her fur and place them on top of her head. Grandma Snowball. ♥
-----------

Now let's move onto something more happy. :) My older brother got married later on that week and I want to congratulate him and his newly wedded wife. It was a small wedding but it was a busy day. I did my little sister's hair, niece's hair and make up, mum's hair and the bride's hair and make up as well. Also how can I forget about me? LOLOL I did my hair and make up in less than 30mins, pretty good job for myself zzz. I was up damn early but it was a wonderful day and I'm very happy for my brother, many blessings for him and his wife.

The big day - her face has been blurred for privacy reasons. :)

The after party at my brother's place with the fam bam.

May was the busiest and craziest month for me and so glad it's over.

J U N E

Now June is here, I'm currently on my holiday break but it's exam period so I'm very busy with doing my assignments - I don't get exams, just a lot of essays and what not. After next week I'm a free ladyyy!!!!! 8D I won't get back to studying until late July so I'm damn happy. So hopefully I'll have some more free time to upload more blog posts. ^^

----------

So... We've come to the end of this, what are your thought on this type of blog post? If some of you ladies and gents like this type of post, maybe I can post some small updates during the week of what I'm doing and stuff. Just leave a comment down below if you like it or not ohohoh~~

Don't forget to leave a comment my darling~ I love reading comments ohohoho! :D x

Until next time,
Much love ♥ Phuju.

Lenses & Lash Review: EOS V-Check 2 Tone Brown Lenses & Toyoepin No.01 Japan Style Eyelash

(Sponsored)

I haven't blogged since uhhhhh...... January LOLOL!!! Sorry guys and I'm also really surprised that new people are following my blog, even though I haven't blogged in so long - thank you! I'm going to do another blog post on an update of what has been happening for the past few months. Been a bit lazy, crazy, a lot of laughter, tears and emotions combined together. So stay tuned for it, most likely I'll do it after this post. :)

LoveShoppingholics have been very patent with me and thank you for that, and I would also like to apologise for the delay! Their delivery and parcel handling has always been exceptionally well, and I was very happy it arrived within the time frame that they had informed and promised me. (Within two weeks - not including the weekend). They also have a wide selection of lenses, false eyelashes, and other beauty products on their online website.

The product I'll be reviewing today would be the EOS V-Check 2 tone brown lenses and also a pair of false eyelashes they had also kindly sent to me as well.

My Review (lenses):
Design 3/5: The design looks a lot better on their model advertisement. The design that the model was wearing looked more hazy whereas when I recieved it, it looked a lot less natural looking and it had distinctive lines within the lenses which came off a bit fake looking.

Colour/color 3/5: The name of it says it all - it is a 2 tone type of lenses, it has a dark brown limbo ring and a warm honey brown for the iris colour. They sort of remind of the GEO mimi cafe latte series but has more of a golden/honey colour which I feel doesn't really blend in with my eyes naturally.

Enlargement 4/5: The size is 14.5mm which gives it a natural look as it isn't huge as the 15mm. Also the dark limbo ring gives it an extra enlarging effect as well. :3

Comfort 4/5: I liked the comfort level of them - wore them about 5hrs and my eyes were still in pretty good condition without eye drops. EOS normally is very comfortable for me and since the lenses diameter is only 14.5mm my eyes felt as if I'm not wearing anything. I guess a lot of oxygen was able to go through my eyes since the diameter is smaller than the usual 15mm I wear lolzzzz.8D

Overall: 3/5
The lenses is comfortable but honestly the design it isn't my style - I thought it'd be more of a hazy lenses (like the Seashell/Dizon series) but it turned out more to look more exotic as it has a golden tone. Perfect for cosplay and also people who want to have natural looking brown eyes but have naturally lighter eye colour than dark brown. Also it doesn't give off a creepy look as it has a small diameter! Would I repurchase it though? Nerhhhhh. I think it doesn't suit me as much I'd like it to.

 --------------
 T O Y O E P I N - E Y E L A S H E S

As for the lashes it was first time trying this brand (Toyoepin).... All I have to say is I love it. I absolutely love false eyelashes. Back when I was younger the more dramatic, the better. My eye make has changed over time and now I prefer natural looking lashes. I still like dramatic lashes but it must be with the clear lash band and fine lashes, they can be saved for parties and special occassions instead now hahaha. :3

Overall: 5/5!!!
I would total purchase it again and would love to try out the other styles within that range as well! Very light weight, has a clear lash band and quality of the hair/lashes are very natural!
